Witnessing Domestic Violence Has Profound Consequences for Children- Even Infants

Almost 3 in 10 Memphians are victims of domestic violence each year and in about half of these reported incidents children are present. Witnessing high levels of domestic violence can have lifelong effects on a child's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
