The Better Brains for Babies Summer Training series is a new learning series designed to teach fundamentals or neuroscience while sharing information about what to do with the information (Touch, Talk, Read, Play). It will include sharing research-based information about the brain, early brain development, and its implications for young children in Memphis and beyond. Participants will learn the basics of brain anatomy and development, plus ways brain development affects physical well-being, attachment, play, and stress. They will learn to apply the science of brain development to everyday care of children, and use a variety of methods to communicate how caregivers can positively impact brain development in young children.
